What should we expect with the check-in process?
On the day of your arrival, the host will reach out via text to ask about your approximate arrival time. This allows the host to know when to start looking for you. They will greet you at check-in and provide a brief tour of the property and your accommodation. If you are unsure, a best guess will be fine.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Is there a limit to how late I can check in?
We have an on-site host around the clock. As long as your timing is communicated, there is no such thing as too late.
May I check in early?
We are asked this question a lot. We must stick with the 4pm check-in or later.
Is there running water and a flushing toilet?
Yes. This is a question we've been asked more than once. There is a private bathroom with hot running water in each unit. Our cabins are on a holding tank with water delivered weekly and more frequently if needed. We ask guests to use as much water as they wish, but to please be mindful and not let the water run when it is not in use.
The water is safe to drink from the tap.
In regards to a flushing toilet, we ask our guests to refrain from flushing anything down the toilet besides bodily waste and the toilet paper provided. We use an eco-friendly septic system and even "flushable" products will greatly disrupt our system.
Is there a minimum stay requirement?
There is no minimum stay requirement.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets in our accommodations.
Can I see the Northern Lights from inside of my accommodation?
Absolutely! If the Northern Lights are out, you should be able to see them from the comfort of your bed. However, sometimes the lights are in the south so don't forget to check outside your door!
